Appear Offline On Facebook - As much as we all enjoy chatting with pals on Facebook, it can get frustrating when your web surfing is continuously disrupted by chat alerts and new windows opening up. One way to prevent this scenario is to set your Facebook chat status to offline. This setting will make it appear that you are currently unavailable, allowing you to browse in peace.
Visit to Facebook and click on Chat.
Next, click Options > Go Offline to set your chat status as "offline".
You can reset your online status by merely clicking on Chat (Offline) to reveal your pals list:.
This setting is not well publicized in the app and might have gone unnoticed by numerous users. Open the Facebook Messenger app and pick your address book. Tap on the Active tab and then toggle the switch showed next to your username to the Off position:.
Now that you have successfully disabled Facebook Chat your mobile, you will no longer appear in the Active tab of your friends.
Following these couple of basic actions.
1. Expect you turned on the chat by clicking on "Switch on chat" on the leading right corner of the chat box.
2. Now, you will see all your Facebook good friends who are online.
3. Now if you wish to stay invisible or offline, then all you need to do is click on Settings icon as shown here.
4. A brand-new window opens. Here click "Advanced Settings".
5. Here, you will be shown with 3 options viz. Turn on chat for all good friends other than ..., Switch on chat for just some friends, Turn off chat.
select from the choices as per your need.

- Not just the names of your buddies, you can likewise get in the List.
