How To Make A Collage On Facebook

I just change my desktop wallpaper as soon as a year (or less) and thought it was time to refresh up with a few of my favorite Disney images. The very first step is to congregate the images you wish to utilize for your collage. If you use a program to arrange your images, then you probably already are familiar with using it to select pictures you wish to utilize and exporting them into a Folder. Due to the fact that there are so lots of various programs out there that do this, I will not cover those techniques here.

If you don't use an arranging program, no issue, you can go through your folders and select some pictures by CTRL+ clicking on the images you wish to use (holding down the CTRL key while clicking) OR command+ clicking (if you are on Mac):.

Once all your pictures are picked, press CTRL+C (command+ C on a Mac) to copy (or ideal click > copy), then ideal click and select Develop New Folder, then inside that folder CTRL+V to paste the images in that folder (or best click > paste.

When all your images are collected, the enjoyable starts!

Picasa is a FREE program by Google that you can download and use to produce simple collages. You can see a post on The Daily Digi all about starting and the various features of the program.

I save all my photos on external harddrives due to the fact that I have A LOT of them and can't fit them on my machine. I also want to only use my device for conserving and running programs, this helps keep it quick. So, after installing (which was surprisingly QUICK and EASY-- YAY) I selected for Picasa to just search My Files,

My Pictures, and Desktop. The reason I did this is due to the fact that 1) I utilize another program for image company and do not require all of my images organized in Picasa too 2) It would take way too long. By doing this, I would be able to add a folder of photos simply develop a collage.

To bring in the photos I wanted to use, I selected "Import":.

Then, picked to import from "Folder ...":.

I browsed to the folder where my photos were conserved, picked open, then picked Import All at the bottom of the window:.

This is what Picasa appeared like after it was done importing those photos:.

In the bottom of the above window, you can see an area to include a Folder Title, go ahead and go into a name there. Then, select "Import All" with the green check mark beside it.

The folder will appear in the Library tab in the leading left corner.

Click on the Develop Collage icon. You can utilize the default settings or have fun with different things to see exactly what you like. If you are producing a Facebook Cover, you will wish to alter the Page Format to Custom and enter the measurements 851 × 315. If you are developing wallpaper, you can use the [16:10] Widescreen Screen default setting in Page Format OR right click your desktop (Windows), choose Screen Resolution and see exactly what size you need to make your wallpaper.

When you get everything set the way you want, if you are creating a wallpaper, then click the Desktop Background and it will save the collage to your harddrive as well as wait as your wallpaper. If you are developing a Facebook cover, then click Export and conserve. Here's what my wallpaper looked like when I was done:.

I LIKE it! So FAST therefore SIMPLE! A lot of magic memories caught with individuals I enjoy, that I can enjoy every single day on my computer system How To Make A Collage On Facebook!
