One negative effects of doing this is that Facebook will attempt to conceal comparable posts in the future. If that's okay, click the down arrow beside the post. From the pop-up menu, click on the connect to "Conceal post."



Facebook then gives you a couple of choices. You can click on the link to undo your "Hide post" action if you change your mind and still wish to see the post. Or-- if the post stinks or is spam in some way-- you can report it to Facebook by clicking "Report post."



Unfollowing a 'Good friend'.

Okay, however let's say you wish to take it a step further and ensure you never see any posts from this individual on your News Feed. That's when you may desire to unfollow the individual. Click the down arrow next to any of the individual's posts. Then click the "Unfollow" link.



You'll remain good friends with the person however won't see any more of his or her posts. If you alter your mind, click the "Reverse" link. You can also report the post.

Manage Who You Follow.

You can unfollow multiple people in one shot, or re-follow someone you unfollowed awhile back, by clicking News Feed > Edit Preferences on the top-left menu. A pop-up menu will appear with options for handling your News Feed.

To unfollow numerous people, click the 2nd alternative for "Unfollow individuals to conceal their posts.".



Select individuals, pages, or groups you not desire to appear on your News Feed and click the "Done" button.



If you're all set to see posts from somebody you unfollowed, meanwhile, select "Reconnect with individuals you unfollowed" and simply click individuals you want to appear in your News Feed once again.
