Stop Facebook Videos From Autoplaying

I like a hilarious pet video as much as the next individual, however when my Facebook and Twitter begin overruning with video dishes, news clips, and advertisements that play automatically, it gets a little draining pipes. For me and my mobile phone data plan, Stop Facebook Videos From Autoplaying.
But it turns out you can quickly disable video auto-play, both on the apps and on your desktop (because disabling one doesn't impact the other, FYI).

For desktop or laptop computer
1. Open up Facebook, then go to the Settings icon in the top right corner of your browser. When a drop-down menu appears, click Settings again.
