How To Make Facebook Pictures Private. Any picture that you're tagged in "belongs" to somebody else. Unless it's an image of you that you tagged yourself in.,
If it's a photo of you that you took and tagged yourself in, you "own" the image, and are therefore in charge of its personal privacy settings. You can pick "Only Me" from the drown down menu on the image, thus:
Photos that others have actually tagged you in will stay public, even if you eliminate the tag from that photo Whoever published the image that your tagged in "owns" that photo.
To get rid of a tag, click the drop down arrow at the top of the post/ image and click "Eliminate Tag":
You'll get this notice though:
You can also alter your timeline personal privacy settings. These are mine:
Go to settings from the drop down menu:.
Then choose "Timeline and Tagging".
You'll have the ability to control what can be posted on your timeline, and if you see someone has tagged a photo of you, you can remove the tag and select to conceal it from your timeline.
Facebook will notify you to anybody who's tagged you in anything on your actual timeline, at the bottom right of your cover image.
In summary, just your own material can be made private. Anything you have actually been tagged in by others will be public - however you have the alternative to conceal this material from your timeline.
Hope How To Make Facebook Pictures Private this helps!
