So you got married, and now your name on Facebook doesn't relate to your brand-new name. This post will talk about How Change My Name On Facebook, and still have the ability to have people look for you under your former first name.

1. Go to the Facebook website in your web browser. Log in with your username and password, if you have not saved the information for later usage.
2. Click the button marked "Account" in the top-right corner of your Facebook screen, and click the "Account Settings" button from the drop-down list.
3. Click the "Edit" link to the right of the row marked "Call" which shows your previous (now first) name.
4. Change your name in the "last" name box, to read your brand-new "wed" name.
5. Type your complete maiden (first and last) name into the "Alternate name" box. The next line identified "Alternate name" is for your maiden name.For example, if your first name is Christina Lee and your married name is Christina Smith, do not type Christina Lee-Smith. Just type "Christina Lee" in this "Alternate name" box.
6. Click the "Conserve changes" button.
7. Type your existing Facebook password in the "Password" box listed below these entries.
8. Click "Save modifications" one more time. It's all done and now individuals can find you either by your first name or your married name.
