I love a hilarious animal video as much as the next individual, but when my Facebook and Twitter begin overflowing with video recipes, news clips, and ads that play instantly, it gets a little draining pipes. For me and my mobile phone information plan, Turn Off Autoplay Facebook.
But it ends up you can easily disable video auto-play, both on the apps and on your desktop (since disabling one doesn't affect the other, FYI).
Don't worry, you can still decide to play videos, like the clip of those red pandas frolicking in the snow, as numerous times as you pick (14 in my case, however who's counting?).

1. Open up Facebook, then go to the Settings icon in the top right corner of your web browser. When a drop-down menu appears, click Settings again.
