Create A Facebook Collage

I only alter my desktop wallpaper as soon as a year (or less) and thought it was time to refurbish with a few of my favorite Disney images. The initial action is to congregate the photos you wish to utilize for your collage. If you utilize a program to arrange your pictures, then you probably currently recognize with utilizing it to select images you want to use and exporting them into a Folder. Since there are numerous different programs out there that do this, I won't cover those methods here.

If you don't use an organizing program, no problem, you can go through your folders and select some pictures by CTRL+ clicking the pictures you want to use (holding down the CTRL secret while clicking) OR command+ clicking (if you are on Mac):.

When all of your photos are chosen, press CTRL+C (command+ C on a Mac) to copy (or best click > copy), then right click and select Produce New Folder, then inside that folder CTRL+V to paste the pictures because folder (or ideal click > paste.

When all your images are collected, the fun begins!

Picasa is a FREE program by Google that you can download and utilize to produce easy collages. You can see a post on The Daily Digi all about getting going and the different features of the program.

I save all of my pictures on external harddrives due to the fact that I have A LOT of them and can't fit them on my device. I also want to just utilize my device for saving and running programs, this helps keep it quick. So, after installing (which was surprisingly FAST and EASY-- YAY) I selected for Picasa to only search My Documents,

My Photos, and Desktop. The factor I did this is since 1) I use another program for photo company and do not require all my pictures organized in Picasa too 2) It would take method too long. This method, I would be able to add a folder of pictures just produce a collage.

To generate the photos I wanted to use, I picked "Import":.

Then, picked to import from "Folder ...":.

I browsed to the folder where my images were conserved, picked open, then picked Import All at the bottom of the window:.

This is exactly what Picasa looked like after it was done importing those photos:.

In the bottom of the above window, you can see a spot to include a Folder Title, go ahead and go into a name there. Then, choose "Import All" with the green check mark beside it.

The folder will appear in the Library tab in the top left corner.

Click on the Develop Collage icon. You can use the default settings or have fun with various things to see exactly what you like. If you are developing a Facebook Cover, you will desire to change the Page Format to Custom and go into the dimensions 851 × 315. If you are producing wallpaper, you can utilize the [16:10] Widescreen Screen default setting in Page Format OR right click your desktop (Windows), select Screen Resolution and see exactly what size you must make your wallpaper.

When you get whatever set the way you want, if you are developing a wallpaper, then click on the Desktop Background and it will save the collage to your harddrive as well as wait as your wallpaper. If you are creating a Facebook cover, then click Export and conserve. Here's what my wallpaper appeared like when I was done:.

I LIKE it! So QUICKLY therefore EASY! Numerous magic memories recorded with individuals I love, that I can delight in each and every single day on my computer Create A Facebook Collage!
